Background

Spencer is an experienced litigator and trial attorney. Recognized for his strategic acumen and persuasive advocacy, he has successfully represented clients in a wide array of complex civil and criminal matters. Spencer is adept at navigating high-stakes litigation, with a proven record of success in both state and federal courts.
 

After earning his Juris Doctor, Spencer began his career at Ballard Spahr, where he honed his litigation skills and gained invaluable experience in white collar criminal defense, civil rights litigation, employment discrimination, and complex commercial litigation. He has since continued to build an impressive portfolio, representing a diverse clientele that includes individuals, corporations, and government entities. Spencer has represented Fortune 100 companies in environmental and toxic tort litigation, and he has experience in real property and construction litigation. He has also represented individuals in criminal matters, family law matters, and life and estate planning matters.

Spencer was born and raised in South Philadelphia where he learned the importance of hard work, respect, and standing up for what is right. He is known for his meticulous preparation and commitment to understanding each client’s unique needs and objectives. Spencer combines legal expertise with a pragmatic approach, ensuring that his clients are not only well-represented but also informed and empowered.
Outside of the courtroom, Spencer enjoys spending time with family and close friends, teaching and mentoring in his community, boxing, and rooting for Philadelphia sports teams.
